Using this site

These terms apply to your use of this website, operated by FVAW Consulting Group, LLC (“FVAW”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the information you share with us.

What this site is for

The site describes FVAW’s consulting, speaking, mentorship and training work, and lets you contact us. Its content is general information. It is not advice for your particular organization, which depends on circumstances we can only learn by talking with you. Please read our Disclaimer for more on what the content is and is not.

Inquiries do not create an engagement

Sending an inquiry, booking an introductory call, or exchanging messages with us does not create a consulting, speaking or other engagement, and does not oblige either of us to work together. An engagement begins only when we both agree to it in writing, and its terms then govern that work.

We read every inquiry, but we cannot promise to accept every request, to be available on a particular date, or to reply by a particular time.

What you send us

Please give accurate information when you contact us, and send only information you have the right to share. You allow us to use what you send to respond to you and to consider and carry out any work we agree on, as described in our Privacy Policy.

The inquiry form is not the place for confidential material. Unless we have agreed confidentiality in writing, please do not send trade secrets, confidential pastoral or counseling matters, or other information you need to keep private.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • use the site for anything unlawful, or to harass, impersonate or mislead anyone;
  • send spam, automated or bulk submissions, or messages on someone else’s behalf without their permission;
  • try to break into, overload, probe or disrupt the site or the systems behind it;
  • upload or send anything harmful, such as malware;
  • copy, scrape or republish the site’s content except as these terms allow.

We may block or ignore submissions that break these rules.

Our content

The site’s text, design, graphics and the FVAW name and marks belong to FVAW or are used with permission. You may view the site and share links to it, and print or save a page for your own reference. Please do not reproduce, modify or distribute the content otherwise without our written permission.

Other websites and services

The site may link to services run by others, such as a scheduling page for booking a call. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. A scheduling link does not guarantee that a particular time will be available, or that a booked call will go ahead if circumstances change.

No guaranteed results

Every organization is different. We do not guarantee any particular financial, technology, cybersecurity, ministry, business, operational or organizational outcome from using the site, from its content, or from contacting us. Our Disclaimer explains this further.

The site is provided as is

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, error-free, secure or current, and we disclaim implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, FVAW is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of the site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and will change the date at the top of the page when we do. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated terms.
