Privacy Policy
What we collect when you contact FVAW through this site, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it.

The short version
- We collect what you choose to tell us in an inquiry, and use it to reply and to work with you.
- This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
- Email fvaw.consulting@gmail.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
Who we are
This website is operated by FVAW Consulting Group, LLC (“FVAW”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect through the site, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website only, not information you share with us by other means such as in person or by phone.
Information you give us
When you send an inquiry through “Let’s talk”, you tell us what brings you here and answer a few questions about it. Depending on what you choose, that can include:
- Speaking engagements: the type of event, its audience and expected attendance, the date if it is set, whether it is in person, virtual or hybrid, its city, region and country, a topic, and a description.
- Consulting and technology: the kinds of work you need, a starting budget range, a timeline, and a description.
- Mentorship: the kind of mentorship you are interested in, how you prefer to meet, and a description.
- Training and workshops: the topics you are interested in and a description.
- Anything else: a description in your own words.
Every inquiry also asks for your name and email address, and lets you add a phone number and the name of your organization if you wish. If you write to us by email instead, we receive whatever you include in your message.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in an inquiry, such as health details, financial account numbers, passwords, or confidential pastoral or counseling matters. The form does not need them, and we would rather discuss anything sensitive with you directly.
Information collected automatically
When you send an inquiry, a little context travels with it:
- The page you sent it from, as an address without anything after it. We deliberately drop the part of a web address after a “?” or “#”, because other sites and email programs sometimes put personal details there.
- The website that referred you, but only when you arrived from another site, and only that site’s address, not the specific page you were reading.
- Campaign tags, if the link you followed carried the standard tags that marketers use to tell campaigns apart (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term). No other part of the link is read.
To check that we will be able to reply, we confirm that your email address’s domain (the part after the “@”) is set up to receive email, using the internet’s public Domain Name System. This sends the domain name to a DNS resolver; it does not send your full address, and it never contacts your mailbox.
Like any website, our hosting provider records technical information about requests to the site, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to operate the service and keep it secure. To prevent abuse of the inquiry form, our server also holds the IP addresses of recent senders in temporary memory for up to one hour; they are not written to any database.
How we use information
- to read and respond to your inquiry;
- to provide the services or information you ask for, and to arrange and run consultations;
- to check that an email address can receive our reply;
- to protect the site and our inbox from spam and abuse;
- to understand which campaigns bring people to the site, where campaign tags are present;
- to keep the ordinary business records any organization keeps about its inquiries and clients.
Marketing emails and text messages
We do not currently send marketing emails. Sending an inquiry never signs you up for one. If we offer updates about workshops, webinars or programs in future, we will ask with a separate, optional checkbox that is never ticked in advance, and every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe.
We do not currently send text messages. Giving us a phone number lets us call or message you about your inquiry; it does not enroll you in automated texts. If we introduce text reminders or updates, we will ask for your separate consent, explain what to expect, and you will be able to stop them at any time by replying STOP.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you, to work with you if you become a client, and to keep reasonable business records, and then delete it.
Some information lasts a much shorter time: an unfinished inquiry draft stays in your own browser for at most 24 hours, and the IP addresses used to prevent abuse stay in server memory for at most one hour. Our hosting provider keeps its own technical logs according to its own policies.
How we protect information
The site is served only over encrypted connections, checks every inquiry on the server before accepting it, keeps its service keys on the server where browsers cannot see them, and does not load code from other companies’ servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email fvaw.consulting@gmail.com and tell us what you would like. We may need to confirm that a request really comes from you before acting on it, and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
You can also choose not to send an inquiry at all, and contact us by email instead, or clear your browser’s storage for this site at any time.
Children
This site is intended for adults and for organizations. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Other websites and services
This site links to other sites and services, such as a booking page. We are not responsible for how they handle information, so please read their privacy policies when you use them.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change, and change the date at the top of the page when we do. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on this page.
